Every piece begins with a thoughtful creative process.

Some artworks are discovered in antique collections and vintage archives, while others are original paintings, photographs, or digitally created compositions designed exclusively for Somewhere From Home. Each piece is carefully selected, created, or refined for its palette, composition, texture, and ability to bring warmth and character to a space.Whether sourced, painted, photographed, or thoughtfully edited, every artwork is chosen with the same goal: to create timeless pieces that feel collected rather than decorated.

02 | Restoration

Once a piece is selected, it is carefully restored and prepared for reproduction.

Our process focuses on preserving the character that makes vintage artwork special while refining color, contrast, and clarity for modern printing. Original brushwork, subtle texture, age marks, and imperfections are often intentionally retained as part of the artwork's story.

The goal is never perfection—it's preserving character.

03 | Material Selection

Every artwork is paired with materials chosen to complement the piece itself.

Whether printed on smooth matte paper, hand deckled fine art paper, or gallery-quality canvas, we carefully consider how each medium enhances the mood, texture, and visual impact of the artwork.

Frames, matboards, and finishing details are selected to create a presentation that feels timeless rather than trend-driven.

Each piece is printed individually when your order is placed.

Using archival materials and museum-quality inks, your artwork is produced specifically for your home—not pulled from warehouse inventory. This approach allows us to focus on craftsmanship while reducing waste and ensuring every piece receives individual attention.
